Pique Nique + Maybelline event

Hey everyone! Yesterday, Kelly and I went for the Maybelline Event at Zouk which i managed to get tickets for. && nono, we did not stay to club after that. Noob:/ Anyws, the event was at 8pm and we decided to meet earlier to have dinner. Ended up at Pique Nique! (Cause i was craving for waffles, hehs) They serve all day breakfast so i decided to order the Egg Benedict while Kelly ordered the burger. The fries were awesome!!! The food is not bad but I thought the Egg Benedict was just okay~ The sauce was nice though. Overall, the price was quite reasonable (About 15 per person) and the portion of the food was substantial.

You can totally see how big Kelly's appetite was. hahahahs. (Joking)

Here's some OOTD photos. Not a lot though cause we lost track of time and the sky was getting dark. Anyws, I was wearing this semi-sheer long black skirt for the first time and my parents totally got a shock cause I was dressed fully black and the style was quite different from what i usually wear. The skirt was soo flattering and i thought it was a total steal for the price. hehs.


We took a bus to Zouk and the door was already flooded with people! I didn't expect such a huge crowd to be there. LOL Dint even manage to get my Soyato ice-cream. Sighhhhs... Anyws, they had free makeup services if you wanted to have your make up done. They set up the makeup booths inside the club (Totally cool)  and the queue was really long so we didn't really bother to queue for anything. :/


We were given a free drink coupon each and Kelly asked me to redeem the drinks while she took care of the belongings. It was such a stupid idea because i haven't clubbed before and i didn't know what to order so i just stared at the bartender while he stared back at me. Then he asked me what drinks i wanted and i said tequila? And he was like as in shot then i just said yes cause he was giving me the- are you dumb look. So, i asked for another random drink which was fine and a glass shot for Kelly. :B Her face was like @_@ ???!!! Bad experience, hahas. I'll just keep off from clubs from now on.

During the 2 hours event, they had a Forever21 fashion show, a live makeup demo, awesome DJ and a group of male models modelling topless? Hahahas You can totally see the number of camera handphones that went up when the male models walked out. The reaction was kinda funny. Just to share a few shots :p


We got to go home with Maybelline goodie bags!!! which included some samples and a f21 voucher! How awesome is that?!:D Kelly and I had a great time and thank you Maybelline for extending the invites on facebook!:D

The Lucky One

Hey guys! Sorry for the long hiatus! :( Been busy with exams and it's finally over!!! Woots! 4 months of holidays here i come!!! On the side note, i still have not found my internship :(Sighhhs... Gotta start looking this week. Companies, if u are seeing this, please grant me an interview soon! :B

Anyws, Dorothy, Jin li and I met up at The Cathay after Doro's final paper to watch The Lucky One. The one that Zac Efron stars in! And the movie was awesome! It's one of the better Nicholas Sparks movie (Don't like Dear John :/ ) If you are a fan! Go catch that movie now! :D

Then we went to Manna Story at Plaza Sing for Korean food.


And we ordered the rice cake as well as bulgogi! We can choose to add extra ingredients into the dishes so we decided to add in ramen into the rice cake which is quite nice :D We also ordered the steam egg which is AWESOME!

Ok, now to make ur mouth water:D


Nice food! Highly recommended! Reasonable prices. :)

Then we stopped for ice-cream. HAHA

Trend ALERT! The Hunger Games districts inspired runways

Yeah... So who hasn't watched the most anticipated movie of the year??? Drum roll please *** The Hunger Games! What I was most excited about, other than Katniss and Peeta scenes, were the outfits representing the different districts! The costume mentioned in the books seemed to be really interesting and futuristic. Of course, Katniss's outfit in the movie was what i expected but i decided to put together my very own Hunger Games costumes for the 12 districts based on this year's spring 2012 collections from various designers. As you all may know, the 12 districts represent different jobs and occupations, hence the different costume themes. So which designers kinda designed these costumes for the districts? Read on to find out!:D
