If you are in Rome and in the mood for a sweet dessert, you have to try their tiramisu! They come in a variety of flavours and you can easily request for the counter to mix so you can try all flavours. We had the traditional flavour, pistachio and coconut! Anything with pistachio is awesome and you can find pistachio flavour in almost all the desserts and pastries in Rome. Def a place for pistachio lover like me :)

Ciao! Venice, Italy!
Hi guys!
Sorry for the long hiatus! I'm currently on school exchange and hence, will be converting this blog to a travel blog for the span of 6 months. Whee~ Hello from Rome, Italy everyone! I'm currently snuggling up in my couch, as I'm typing this blog post. Gotta type quickly as the internet is bonkers when everyone else is awake.
I still can't believe I am in Italy for 6 months, despite being having reached here for a week! I have not spent much time in Rome yet as we took the train off to Venice to catch the annual masquerade carnivale. Venice is one of my most highly anticipated city in Italy and it did not disappoint.
I highly recommended buying the water bus pass for 18 Euros (For youths) and you can use it to travel anywhere within Venice. I always choose to sit outside when i'm on the boat even though it was freezing. It's an experience you have to try and you get to see Venice from another angle! :)
One of my fave places in Venice is the Burano Island. It's definitely worth half a day of exploring and just enjoying the unique architecture of pastel coloured houses. It's so beautiful and I really want to go back someday! In line with the Carnivale, the kids also dressed up in costumes at Burano and everyone was in masks and superheroes outfits!

We notice PDA-ing everywhere. LOL But isnt this a nice shot? :)
You have to try the Carbonara when u're in Italy. It's totally different from the ones we have in SG. It's drier, less creamy and wayyyyy tastier! Even if you're not a fan of cheese, you won't be disappoint by the taste of the Carbonara here. :)
P.s i really want to try blogging regularly on my adventures in Italy and anywhere in Europe. Fingers cross i can keep to that promise! :) Ciao! Till next time everyone!

NOTD + Updates
Hey guys, I have not been blogging for awhile. It's been hell in school and we're finally at week 13! Whee~ 2 weeks till the holidays and 3 more months till my exchange! :)
Did my nails yesterday. I love pink but i really hate pink on my nails. Don't know what came over me yesterday as i picked up my Essie Off the Shoulder and OPI Crown Me Already. Turns out i really like the colours on my nails!
Essie Off the Shoulder is a bright pink creme while OPI Crown Me Already is a highly glittery polish. This is definitely my favorite glitter polish as it is very opaque. 2 coats is enough to give you a very glittery nail. Off the Shoulder is opaque with 2 coats and it looks very nice on the nails. Not too loud but still gives you some attitude. :)

Night out at Shuffle + Home alone!
Just wanted to share my recent look when I went to Shuffle Bistro Bar to meet up with a friend.
I even tried to create some natural curls by testing out a new hair product i recently got from Watsons. It's Marc Anthony Beach waves spray. The waves do stay on for the whole night and the product does not weigh my hair down. Quite like the product. :) Will do another review some other time. After i try it out more!:)
Anyws, the make-up i used were:
Laura Mercier Radiance Primer
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser
Laura Mercier Mineral Foundation (To set the make up)
Eyes: Naked palette (Buck, hustle, sin)
Clio liquid eyeliner in brown
Cheeks: Illamasqua Naked Rose
Lips: Revlon Soft nude

*Another update:*
My parents are currently on Holiday, hence my bro and i are home alone for 2 weeks! Hate it when they weren't here. We'll get sick of outside food in a week. So, I decided to cook Aglio Olio for the both of us. I think it's quite a good attempt for the first try :P Only that it was a little bland. :/
If anyone has any ideas on how to add more flavour to the pasta, please teach me! :O
I will try cooking something else next week! Need to learn to cook before i go off for my exchange next year! hehs
I even put on fake lashes! Really like this pair from Red Cherry Lashes. It's no heavy at all, hence it does not weigh down my lashes. It looked really natural and give just enough volume to the eye lashes. Do try out Red Cherry Lashes if you are looking for a cheap alternative to Ardell. :)
I got mine at Smoochiezz.com

Best korean food in SG?
Met up with Kelly for dinner today! My haul came in so she had to pass the stuff for me. Eggcited! :)
Brought her to my newly found hidden treasure at Orchard.
The korean food is AWESOME! & cheap! Totally authentic korean food sold by koreans themselves!
Loves loves, gonna be visiting there more often now!
After that, we walked to Coldstone to grab my favorite ice-cream, Banana Caramel :) Sinful but so good!

Eat At Taipei @ Jcube
Went to this restaurant call Eat At Taipei at Jcube about a month ago, now finally got the time to blog some reviews about it. There were 3 of us, spent almost $20 each, and my friend didn't really feel full.

When we sat down, the manager came to us with an ordering form and told us that there were some dishes that were out of stock. There were actually quite a few dishes on the ordering form were being cancelled away. When were took our order with one the waitresses, my friend asked why there were so many dishes missing, the waitress just stared at her, and said nothing. ( -.- )
This is called 棺材板, something like "coffin" if to directly translate. It is basically cream soup contained in a deep fried thick toast. I would say this is the nicest dish out of what we ordered that day. (Most of what we ordered were so called the "must try".)
This is the 大肠牡蛎面线 (meesua with oyster and pig intestine). The portion wasn't very big, and the texture of the meesua tasted more like beehoon to us.
This is 盐酥鸡 (deep fried chicken). As the name suggests "盐" (salt), it was really very salty.
This is the beef noodle. It was ok, but again, the portion wasn't very big.
Here comes the dessert. I ordered the "must try" 九份芋圆 (taro ball), it was actually what excited me very much before going into the restaurant as i love eating sweet stuff and the real 九份芋圆 that i tried when i was in Taiwan was super nice. But this bowl of dessert disappointed me very much. It was like just placing some taro balls in some kind of sweet water. Oh yes, the milk tea in the background, 3 of us shared one cup and we didn't even finish half of it.
Now comes to the highlight of our experience. The food wasn't great but the service was worse. When the dessert came, we asked for clean spoons from one the waitresses, she just walked off without answering. So we asked another waitress, and she came back with this kind of spoon. ( -.- ) What made it worse was, she just left the spoons on the table instead of passing them into our hands.
This is the dessert my friends ordered, it is called 牛奶仙草 (milk with grass jelly) or something like that. It was really literally some blocks of grass jelly placed in a bowl of milk, and the grass jelly was hard and tasted like plastic.
Overall, I think I would never want to visit the restaurant ever again.

Happy Birthday Ivan!
Happy Birthday Ivan! Today, Lx, Ivan and I decided to meet up for lunch to celebrate Ivan's 21st birthday! We met at the new JCube's Itacho Sushi Restaurant. (My first time to JCube!) The sushi are nice but the service is quite bad. Does it happen at all Itacho Restaurants? :/ Since it's Ivan's birthday today, I shall spam the post with all his photos! Knew him since sec 1, gosh... 8 years and counting! hahas.

Pique Nique + Maybelline event
Hey everyone! Yesterday, Kelly and I went for the Maybelline Event at Zouk which i managed to get tickets for. && nono, we did not stay to club after that. Noob:/ Anyws, the event was at 8pm and we decided to meet earlier to have dinner. Ended up at Pique Nique! (Cause i was craving for waffles, hehs) They serve all day breakfast so i decided to order the Egg Benedict while Kelly ordered the burger. The fries were awesome!!! The food is not bad but I thought the Egg Benedict was just okay~ The sauce was nice though. Overall, the price was quite reasonable (About 15 per person) and the portion of the food was substantial.

You can totally see how big Kelly's appetite was. hahahahs. (Joking)

Here's some OOTD photos. Not a lot though cause we lost track of time and the sky was getting dark. Anyws, I was wearing this semi-sheer long black skirt for the first time and my parents totally got a shock cause I was dressed fully black and the style was quite different from what i usually wear. The skirt was soo flattering and i thought it was a total steal for the price. hehs.

We took a bus to Zouk and the door was already flooded with people! I didn't expect such a huge crowd to be there. LOL Dint even manage to get my Soyato ice-cream. Sighhhhs... Anyws, they had free makeup services if you wanted to have your make up done. They set up the makeup booths inside the club (Totally cool) and the queue was really long so we didn't really bother to queue for anything. :/

We were given a free drink coupon each and Kelly asked me to redeem the drinks while she took care of the belongings. It was such a stupid idea because i haven't clubbed before and i didn't know what to order so i just stared at the bartender while he stared back at me. Then he asked me what drinks i wanted and i said tequila? And he was like as in shot then i just said yes cause he was giving me the- are you dumb look. So, i asked for another random drink which was fine and a glass shot for Kelly. :B Her face was like @_@ ???!!! Bad experience, hahas. I'll just keep off from clubs from now on.

During the 2 hours event, they had a Forever21 fashion show, a live makeup demo, awesome DJ and a group of male models modelling topless? Hahahas You can totally see the number of camera handphones that went up when the male models walked out. The reaction was kinda funny. Just to share a few shots :p
We got to go home with Maybelline goodie bags!!! which included some samples and a f21 voucher! How awesome is that?!:D Kelly and I had a great time and thank you Maybelline for extending the invites on facebook!:D
