The Wicked show!

Shuyi, Yishi. Hui yi and I went to watch Wicked yesterday held at MBS. There was a student discount for yst's show. Maybe that's why we saw a lot of students at the show yesterday. :) This was my first time to MBS and i totally acted like a tourist. Hahas. I was busy taking photos while the rest just walked off without me. ROFL

Ps. shuyi&Yishi, i think i managed to minimise your pores but i decided to upload an unglam shot just to make up for it. hahahahs

Inside the Grand theatre. The place is soooo nice!!!:D Super excited for the show to start.

ROW 16!!! It's wayyyyyy at the back of the theatre. lol

The show was wicked!!! Due to the fact that we are all on budget now, we bought the cheapest tickets and sat right at the back. Lols.But the view did not stop us from enjoying the show. I really liked the 'green' lady. LOL && The songs are super nice, esp Defy Gravity. :D

The night view at MBS was soooo pretty! The photographer does not do it justice, but i tried my best. LOL I really want to visit MBs again after my exams, with proper equipment. (Ps. just a tripod. wait till i get a flash! )hahs

Hahahas, the percus people really recommend good shows! Initially, i wasn't even planning on watching it. lols. Same with the NAXIENIAN movie.

Before starting on the post, I would like your support for a competition that I participated in. I managed to get into the top 20 finals for the Canon powershot shootOUT contest! It's a competition across a few SEA countries. There would be 4 prizes given out in total. 2 for judges choice and 2 for fans votes. Given the intense competition from the other competitors, i'm currently trying my luck for the fan votes prizes (Since the judges votes has already been fixed. )

Alright, back to the post~

Updating from the previous post && back to our initial plan of the recce, I decided to shoot some photos for Kelly since she had pretty makeup on. Hahas, the photos will be uploaded on her blog instead so do check it out! :)

Kelly helped me shoot some simple shots too but some did not go as well as planned. hahas. @Kelly, ok maybe it's the 'model' 's problem. LOL

I was trying out my new Revlon Lip butter in Lollipop. The colour is a very pretty fushia colour and it is also a very wearable colour.

Kki-sweets Cafe

Kelly and I headed over to Ann Siang Street after school to do some recce for sat's shoot and halfway through the 'excursion', it started drizzling. We were looking for a shelter and we chanced upon this mini cafe right at the corner of the street.



It is called Kki-sweets cafe. The interior design of the cafe is really cute and homey, they even have a section where they sell stationery! Kelly and I decided to share a cake and a pot of mint tea while waiting for the rain to stop.







The cakes looked super delicious just by looking at them! We ordered the dark chocolate and raspberry cake (Not sure if there's an exact name for it)Ps. Of course must food-camwhore! It looks super tasty!














The cakes range between 7-9 SGD and the tea are of reasonable pricing. The owner lady was really nice and helpful when we asked for recommendation and she patiently explained the main flavor of each cake. The ambience was comfy and a perfect place to spend your afternoon. (Take some photos etc) Kelly keeps saying she want to bring her Bf there. LOL

Makeup storage

Here's my current makeup storage. I bought the Acrylic containers from muji.com at Marina Square. These acrylic containers are inspired by the acrylic containers from the Kim Kardashian show. The acrylic boxes are of very good quality and surprisingly, they can fit a lot of my makeup products even though the height of each drawer is pretty low. I like how i can see all my makeup from the top rather than digging through the boxes. I switch between my products more often after i use to this storage system. It is easier for me to look through the products and pick out the ones i tend to neglect.

Of course my blushes have to be on the top as they are the most important/loved makeup item by me.

The face products are placed on the top so i can easily reach out for them.

Check out what's behind the lippies. OMG, i still can't get over how great the NAKED palette is. Sometimes, i will just take it out and admire it before putting it back. hahas.

High Tea

after Caibei went for the lunch at Equinox@Swiss Hotel, we decided to try the high tea
the high tea starts at 330pm and ends at 5pm, costing about $50 each
the variety of food was not as wide as the lunch buffet
overall, given the short limited time and the lesser food choices, the high tea is not really worth going for








what excited Caibei the most, the chocolate fondue lol
